The Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC) is pleased to sponsor a nine campus speaking tour for David Makovsky, Senior Fellow and Director of the Washington Institute’s Project on Middle East Peace between September ’08 and May ’09.
Please click here for Mr. Makovsky’s full biography.
In order to host Mr. Makovsky on your campus, please submit a detailed proposal including the following to Andrea Sorin:
- Campus contact information
- College or University
- Type of speaking engagements you will host
- Target audience demographic for each event
- Organizations you will work with to co-sponsor each event
- Expected audience size for each event
- Top three proposed dates
- Projected outcome and mechanisms for follow-through
Applications will be reviewed on a first-come first-served basis. We will notify you once your application has been processed.
The ICC will cover the cost of Mr. Makovsky’s honorarium. Host campuses will be responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, and speaking engagement arrangements. Campus coordinators will also be responsible for planning an intensive day of activities with a minimum of THREE speaking engagements per campus featuring David Makovsky (e.g., lecture to the broader campus community, roundtable discussion with campus leaders, appearance as guest lecturer in a class, etc.).
We hope you take advantage of this unique opportunity to host a high-caliber speaker and to provide a tangible resource to students on your campus.
This opportunity is being made possible by generous support from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation and the Morton H. Meyerson Family Tzedakah Fund.
