ELITE ACADEMYThe Elite Academy Program is a unique opportunity for Diaspora students to attend excellent high schools in Israel – for FREE. Students who have completed 9th grade, or have completed 10th grade and are fluent in Hebrew, are eligible for this program, which provides them with free tuition, airfare, room and board, medical insurance, and pocket money. MAGEN DAVID ADOM
The Magen David Adom volunteer program is an amazing opportunity for you to serve Israel, where it is often most needed. If you are between the ages of 18-25, have a basic knowledge of Hebrew, looking for a life-changing experience, and contribute to Israeli society in an invaluable way, this is the right program for you. Volunteers are trained for one intensive week of study in Jerusalem and work on ambulances in all of Israel’s major cities for 4-5 weeks. Programs run all year round with specific program dates. FIREFIGHTERS FOR ISRAELFirefighters for Israel is a great opportunity for you to join the Israeli elite as a firefighter. This program has sessions that start all year round, and is available for anyone aged 18-25 and can speak basic, conversational Hebrew. Volunteers are first trained by the Israeli fire and rescue commission and then placed to work in areas throughout Israel. Housing is available at a local Absorption Center near your placement. STAGERIM - INTERNSHIPSStagerim, our professional internship program, is a great opportunity for students and graduates alike, whether you are looking to break into the professional world in Israel or simply pursue an internship of a different kind. The program runs year round, and is available for anyone aged 18-35 who has completed at least one year of college or is a professional. You must apply 2-3 months in advance for the internships which are available for between 2-6 months. While on the program, you must work at least part time, 20 hours a week. While housing is available at local Absorption Centers, you receive a small stipend of $75 a month that can be used to find an apartment as well. If you opt for Absorption Center housing, $30 a month is taken from your stipend to cover the cost. Apply for an internship in your field of interest in a desired geographic location and we will do our best to find a suitable match. MARVA
Marva the Outdoor Training course is a very challenging program that will push you to your limits. This rigorous 2-month program is held several times during the year - see our website for current dates at

Marva, available for those between the ages of 18-28, is best suited for those in decent physical condition and a basic level of Hebrew, which will rapidly improve during the program. Special emphasis is placed on security, and applicants will learn to live in field conditions, go on long, rigorous hikes, take classes on security-related topics, and be challenged to push their physical abilities way beyond their limits. KIBBUTZ ULPAN
Kibbutz Ulpan provides the unique experience of working with Israelis on a kibbutz while at the same time offering classes in the language itself. If you are looking to learn or improve your Hebrew and to work on a kibbutz, this program is for you. Participants work on the kibbutz for half of the week and study in Ulpan for the other half, thus having the chance to utilize the Hebrew they are learning in an authentic Israeli setting. The program is for 18-28 year olds, and is a five-month program or a summer program. Accommodations are provided on the Kibbutz, as well as the meals and medical insurance. OTZMA
OTZMA is a 10-month program, which incorporates learning Hebrew, volunteering in communities, and even working in internships, in Israel. It is available for 20-24 year olds, and begins in mid-August each year. Some housing is provided, and sometimes meals are provided, as participants go from learning Hebrew and volunteering in the evenings, to being placed as volunteers in specific communities, and finally moving to work in a kibbutz or in an internship. TAGLIT-BIRTHRIGHT ISRAEL

VOLUNTEER PROGRAMSThe Israel Program Center offers a wide variety of volunteer programs:
Volunteers for Israel - Sar-El offers participants the chance to volunteer for 1-3 weeks or more starting on set program dates, Israeli Army bases, serving as support staff in putting together medical packages, packing food rations, and helping with regular maintenance, etc... There is also a program of volunteering at hospitals or nursing homes for a minimum of one month for those who are interested.
Sheli, our independently run volunteer program gives you the freedom to volunteer in your desired field of interest in a geographic location of your choice in Israel. Volunteer opportunities are available in the Welfare Ministry in hospitals, institutions for the mentally disabled, youth villages, and old age homes with all sorts of opportunities available! A minimum of two weeks volunteer time is required. Simply tell us what you want to do, who you want to work with, etc. and where, we will do our best to make it happen!

SEMESTER ABROAD – OVERSEAS STUDYIf you are looking for semester-long university programs, check out the websites of the various institutions in which you are interested – Many universities such as Hebrew University, Bar Ilan University, and Ben Gurion University of the Negev, the Technion, Tel Aviv University, and the University of Haifa offer overseas study.
The Jewish Agency, through MASA Israel Journey programs, has a new scholarship that is offered for all students who want to study abroad in Israel Universities. A student interested in this program may look for the University of their choice and then contact MASA Programs for financial assistance.
