Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem is Israel´s leading art academy. Bezalel currently has 8 undergraduate departments and 3 graduate programs. All departments welcome qualified international students.
The Workshops:
Whether you are a beginner who has never held a paint brush before or an aspiring artist who is looking to prepare an impressive portfolio for art school, the intense workshops will help you develop your creativity and skills. The program offers art and design workshops that will take place Sunday through Wednesday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm for three weeks.
Core workshops include:
Drawing, Painting ,Sculpting and Design Principles, Digital Photography. The Perfect Combination of Art and Adventure! After you wipe the paint and scrape the clay off your hands its time to get dirty again. The adventure part of the program includes some of the best ways to experience Israel. Be prepared to explore and discover archeological sites thousands of years old, float effortlessly on the Dead Sea, kayak on the Jordan River, hike up to Masada, and tuck a crumpled note into the Western Wall. You will do all of this and more while learning about Israel's culture and history and making new friends from Israel and around the world.

Summer 2010 at Bezalel Academy's Jerusalem Art Workshop
Bezalel Academy's Jerusalem Art Workshop is an intense two-week, hands-on program designed for art enthusiasts. Multidisciplinary in its span, the program draws on art and culture to provide participants with tools to create a visual journal of their experience.
Using diverse mediums of creative expression including drawing, painting, sculpting, and photography, participants will develop their skills while exploring the local culture.
Tuition includes double - occupancy accommodations, basic art supplies, daily breakfast and lunch, guided tours and admission to museums. Prerequisites: passion for art and discovery. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Undergraduate studio credit is available.
