Info-Prod Research (IPR) is an Israeli-based business consultancy that specializes in the Arab countries of the Middle East. Our work includes market research, risk analysis, due diligence examinations, business matchmaking, etc. IPR also provides consultancy throughout the Middle East and has been credited with involvement in the signing of several joint ventures across the region. IPR focuses on in-depth business and competitor intelligence projects for a range of Fortune 500 companies, major banks, governments, news providers and international organizations, such as the World Bank and USAID.
IPR also operates the IPR Strategic Business Databases which provides daily news feeds to the world's top business information companies, including Factiva (Dow Jones & Reuters), Financial Times, Gale, Dialog, Genios and several others.
Here are some of the offered internships at Info-Prod:
(1) Advocacy Journalism Internship
FightHatred.Com is dedicated to covering anti-Semitism, counter-hate activities and related subjects. A non-profit project under the sponsorship of the Jabotinsky International Center, FightHatred.Com aims to foster a proactive approach to combating this age-old illness.
The Advocacy Journalism Internship will focus on FightHatred.com internet and media operations. This will include researching news topics, conducting interviews, working with counter-hate organizations and experts, and ultimately producing media materials for the website and for other dissemination. Various additional activities are also routine, such as preparing press briefings and information packs, marketing activities, online promotion, etc.
A key part of the intern’s work experience will be devoted to marketing and promotion.
Internship requirements include:
- Strong writing skills in English. Other languages a plus.
- Excellent research and analytic skills. You will have to process large amounts of data fast in order to produce a knowledgeable and professional evaluation and write it up on time.
- Journalism and editorial experience preferable.
- Familiarity with Jewish history preferred.
- A genuine passion toward combating global anti-Semitism.
- Must be comfortable working independently; be able to work under deadlines.

(2) Business Consultancy Internship
Info-Prod Research (IPR) is a business consultancy that specializes in the Arab countries of the Middle East. Our work includes market research, risk analysis, due diligence examinations, business matchmaking, etc.Our clients include multinational corporations, governments, and international NGOs.
Interns will work on an extremely varied list of business activities, which may include all forms of market research, along with marketing activities and other business projects as mentioned above.
Recent interns have organized and actively participated in an international conference for a European government in Jordan, produced in-depth research reports on companies and on individuals, built and operated websites, conducted marketing campaigns, and produced daily business news items, to name just a few.
Internship requirements include:
- Strong writing skills in English. Other languages a plus.
- Excellent writing ability, especially in business writing (capable of condensing data into clear and concise reports).
- Able to work on several projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent research and analytic skills. You will have to process large amounts of data fast in order to produce a knowledgeable and professional evaluation and write it up on time.
- An understanding of business, finance and economics is preferable, although formal training is not required.
- Familiarity with the Middle East and Arabic is a plus.
- Market research, financial or other business experience a plus.
- Must be comfortable working independently; be able to work under impossible deadlines.

(3) Business Journalism Internship
IPR Strategic Business Databases, part of the IPR (Info-Prod) company, provides daily news feeds to the world's top business information companies, including Factiva (Dow Jones & Reuters), Financial Times, Gale, Dialog, Genios and several others.
Coverage areas include business, finance, economic and political-economic developments, mostly in emerging markets.
The Business Journalism Internship focuses on writing news items, updates, and reports. Although interns are required to process sizable amounts of raw data in order to produce reports at a fast-pace, they must also produce materials of the professional and reliable quality demanded by the top-tier media companies that receive our work. Through their work interns will also gain an in-depth familiarity with developing markets, in particular business.
In addition to this work, interns will also gain exposure to various other activities taking place within the company, such as in-depth market research, due diligence reports, marketing activities, etc.
As the interns prove their capabilities they will be able to progress to more in-depth and demanding tasks. Exceptional interns have also had their work published with full credit.
Internship requirements include:
- Strong writing skills in English. Other languages a plus.
- Excellent writing ability, especially in business writing (capable of condensing data into clear and concise reports).
- An understanding of business, finance and economics is preferable, although formal training is not required.
- Strong individual research skills are a must.
- Journalism, editorial and market research experience a plus.
