NORPAC, America's largest bipartisan political action committee supporting the US-Israel relationship, has an open position for a Membership Director.
Perks include varied work supporting the survival of the Jewish State, meeting with public figures, a competitive salary, and the opportunity for advancement. Time off is given for Shabbat and Yom Tov.
Primary responsibilities:
- Work on federal campaign finance reports under supervision of the Treasurer.
- Distribute newsletters, email invitations, and other correspondence.
- Maintain membership records using MS Excel or Access.
- Actively raise and collect funds.
- Assist at fund raising events.
- Present a positive face to community members, Members of Congress, and their staff.
- Help plan and coordinate the annual Mission to Washington advocacy trip.
- Work closely with NORPAC's President, staff, and volunteers.
Ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Passion for strengthening the US-Israel relationship.
- Ability to work in a bipartisan and professional manner.
- Superior attention to detail and organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, editing, and phone communication skills.
- Initiative, flexibility, and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and basic Internet research.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure of deadline.
- Reliable transportation for NORPAC errands from the office.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance practices a plus.
- Knowledge of webpage and database development a plus.
Location: NORPAC office in Bergen County, NJ
Salary: $30 - $60 K
