The Technion International School of Engineering is offering a summer course in University of Colorado at Boulder (in ENGLISH):

Summer Course: Engineering for Developing Communities
July 18th -August 12th 2010
 
Course Description
This course focuses on appropriate and sustainable technology and small-scale sustainable community planning and development. The course cuts across many technical and non-technical disciplines. The course includes both class, lab and field work in the South of Israel.  The course focuses on “Hands on Engineering" while providing simple solutions to developing communities as well as understanding the geography, history and anthropology of Israel.

Academic Credits
The course holds academic credit both at the Technion and the University of Colorado at Boulder 

Admissions
Students majoring in Engineering with a strong academic background are invited to apply.
